At 15, I redid an entire kitchen in Portugal

What I enjoyed, learned, and the whole process of how it was done:

Hello! It’s been a while since I did one of these blogs, but I want to give background on my videos on social media.

The first thing I did was build a 3d model of the kitchen:

this is a in progress model of what the sink area would look like.

Then I gave some reference photos and other ideas of what the design of the cabinets would look like (much was inspired by deVOL) and through the help of my translator (my father because I don’t speak Portuguese) we came up with a final design sketch.

This wasn’t the first time making a kitchen but I had never been this involved with the process before and it was so much fun to have full creative control.

Next, I picked out the marble from the photos and waited anxiously for it to be put in. Then got the extra accessories to spice it up and……

the final kichen after 4 months of work

It looks incredible and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Many people get scared and stressed about interior design and redoing their homes, and to them, I say: don’t be. It’s not easy but always go with your gut and make it just how YOU like it. Make it feel like your kitchen that you would like to see every day. Every part, from the hinges to the tile color is all a slow calculated process that will take time. Getting it just right is not easy but all worth it and should be fun to do. Enjoy your next house flip!
