Squid Ink - Fox State Forest

Squid Ink - Fox State Forest

from $6.00

Hidden in the hills of Hillsborough is the Fox State Forest where I took my green hikes. Known for its ancient bogs, steel fire tower, and 18th century stone walls, the Fox Forest was a gift in 1932 to the State of New Hampshire by Caroline A. Fox to be a research and demonstration forest set on 1,445 acres with 22 miles of trails. Here soar the tallest pines in the state, and deep green of old growth forest remind us of what a primordial New Hampshire must of looked with with a unique and deep hue of green.
